DOORMATS: They are made of 100% natural coir and are great for preventing dirt and mud from tracking inside your home. Each mat is hand-painted with oil-based paint which lasts much longer than the 2-3 months of use you would get with other mats painted with acrylic.

CARE: You must keep your mat as dry as possible to avoid the darkening of the fibers. To clean, simply give it a good shake or two! The coir material does shed but the shedding is caught in the mat - it does not track inside of your home. Shake it or vacuum it every few weeks to keep clean. PLEASE NOTE: The doormats are made with natural fibers that vary in color. No single mat is identical to another. Some are lighter and some are darker than the other etc. Each mat has its own imperfections that make it unique.
